Description

When the Mane 6 are caught in the midst of a volcanic eruption during one of their adventures, unable to fly out due to the heavy smoke in the clouds, and unable to use magic due to the extreme heat and smoke making it impossible to properly focus magic, the Mane 6 have no choice but to ride this one out...knowing that the chances of survival are slim. Regardless, they stick together "until the end"; regardless of what may happen; regardless whether they live or die. Their friendship is that powerful, that even in the face of the end, they cannot be broken apart from each other.

Do they survive this horrific experience, or do they meet their end together?
That's up to you all to decide...

Vision: The way the volcano erupts with destructive power, overwhelming heat, and the shaking earth makes this worth the request for volcanos and lava. The devastated looks on the mane 6 when they witness the lava coming close and closer to them, they know that they are not going to make it out of this alive. Its just details upon details of outstanding… everything!

Originality: Though this isn't the first I guess to do this. The story in the description makes this just eye-candy for anyone to see tragedy at its finest. The tragic feel to this makes me want to scream badly, "NOOOOOOOO!" for the six yet the bond that they all share for each other makes me well up in tears that they will never leave each other no matter how dire the situation.

Technique: Normally I don't want to describe considering how hard it is coming from a watcher but for this pic, it probably may as well be worth it. The way the volcano and the erupting lava looks as expected is realistic and the six themselves of course are animated. However, even with that, the drawing itself will get to even the most hardcore of fans with its appeal to the realistic details of the background and sheer amount of eye-candy from every corner of this picture.

Impact: Just… just wow, you really pushed the limit of tragedy, sadness, and screaming 'no's!' at this pic. The impact from this is already there from seeing the disaster happening in front of you and the tragic looks on the six. However, as you read the description you made, it becomes clear that they are willing to face their deaths together making the impact go up tenfold. It makes this a tear-jerking, tragic, and overwhelmingly saddening pic as you see the demise of your favorite characters happening right in front of your very eyes and you cannot do anything to prevent this. It will break all hardened hearts no matter how tough they are. No other pic has ever made me overwhelm in tears for the downfall of any beloved characters. None, except this.

I don't know if there will ever be another picture with the same level of tragic sadness this has in store and even if there is one, I doubt it comes as close to this for everything about it just pulls at their hearts. Overall, one of the most outstanding pics my eyes have ever seen and nothing at the moment will change my mind. Well, with that out of that way, I might end up using this situation on my fanfic should the time arise.
