Twilight Sparkle's curiosity and hunger for knowledge brings her to snoop into the restricted section of the Canterlot library. She discovers a book filled with advanced magic spells, and finds a teleportation spell powerful enough to take her to the other side of the equestrian universe.
Only one problem; the book never taught her how to get back...
I saw this vector and wanted to do something completely different in terms of expression from the original image from the Season 3 video (which I refuse to watch until season 3 comes out :3). This is the result.
Normally i dont write critiques, but this...i..love it. Amazing use of vector, and i really love the magic effect it gives. It just looks like shes using magic, to find her way back. And the little story you have put in the description, matches this artwork perfectly.
And the colors are so...intense, like with all ones you did, and i just love it! The sky is filled with stars, (what is pretty logical) and the stars finishes this awesome and beautyfull work of art! I really get the feeling shes lost and she thinks that she will never get back agian!
Again, i really love this piece of art, and keep them coming, (if you will)
I would have to say, for one, that I don't usually make critiques for images that use vectors. I find that it makes it easier and a little cheap. But this image... it made me want to put a critique on it before I even read the description for it. It's a very well made picture, and it shows the story that you displayed in the description very well. The star pattern in the sky, the purple fog, and the lighting work well with the image.
I like how the colors blended well, though it wasn't perfect, but then again, it turned out great for working with a vector. I have noticed that you edited the vector a bit by adding the tear in her eye, which is a creative twist that I like. The picture overall is done really good, and tells a story that I would like to know, for the emotion portrayed makes a well fit grip on the viewer, which in this case is me. You did very well with it.
See, I look through MLP art a lot when working on fanfiction, to give me inspiration and help me get my head into the universe, right? So I was doing that, and this! Is! Perfect!
May I use this (if I credit you) for part of the cover for my Twilight Sparkle fanfic? Oh, please, oh, please, oh, please?!?!?!
